ABOUT THE FIRM

WHO WE ARE

ID Collaborative, Inc. was established on a foundation of friendship, exceptional teamwork, and trust between the firm and its clients, and further enhanced by a client-focused approach to every project detail.

The design studio is led by the firm’s partners, Karen Hansen and Brock Breaux, formerly of in.design studio, inc.,and is complemented by a dedicated group of professionals, committed to serving the local community and beyond.

Collectively, the team’s 150+ years of local, national, and international design experience comprises a vast range of sectors, including healthcare, corporate, institutional, hospitality, multi-family, residential, and LEED-certified, sustainable designs. Their passion for innovation and creativity is grounded in their clients’ requests and requirements, and supplemented by the juxtaposition between their approachability, sense of humor, and understanding of budgets, scheduling, constructability, and return on investment, merely a few elements inherently woven into their design solutions.

Through hard work, authenticity, and dedication, each member of the ID Collaborative team has individually and collectively earned a sterling reputation in the industry and will continue to lead as an agile, entrepreneurial company with high expectations and solid values– philosophies shared by each of the firm’s associates.

Ms. Hansen, for her part, is a graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design. She has been NCIDQ certified (National Council for Interior Design Qualification) since 1999 and has been a Florida Registered Interior Designer since 2000.

Her dedication and service to the community show through multiple avenues, including her volunteerism with Habitat for Humanity, her appointment to the University of Miami Architectural Advisory Board, and her appointed seat on both the Palm Beach County Criminal Justice Commission and PBC CJC Executive Committee, to name a few.

As a proud mother of two, she leads by example in her unwavering commitment to leaving the world a better place through thoughtful design, community-based acts of service, and victim advocacy.

Her partner, Brock Breaux, a graduate of Ringling College of Art and Design, graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Interior Design, and is an NCIDQ-certified, Florida-registered Interior Designer.

Brock has a strong passion for technology, is proficient in the industry’s most essential programs (such as Revit, BIM360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Bluebeam), and is always looking for ways to incorporate the latest innovations to visualize and communicate the firm's designs.

In his spare time, Brock enjoys a diverse range of interests that reflect his love for creativity and connection. Cooking is one of his favorite pastimes, as he enjoys trying new recipes and sharing delicious meals with family and friends. Brock cherishes weekends spent at farmers' markets with his partner, appreciating fresh produce and supporting local vendors in the community.

His most notable strengths include his ability to adapt in any situation, his nearly endless abundance of patience, and his humble, uncompromising work ethic.

The excitement at ID Collaborative continues to build with their Women Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) Certification and a Minority-Owned Business certification on the horizon.

The team proudly introduced Keith Lashley, a renowned Florida-registered architect and AIA Fellow, during Q4, 2024. Keith provides IDC’s clientele with essential services such as document review, permitting oversight, and construction administration services.

ID Collaborative continues to grow both geographically and in terms of services provided, based on clients’ needs, and is excited to partner with new and existing clients on renovations, expansions, or new construction projects. They are available by appointment in their office or on-site and look forward to hearing from you!

Her dance background gives her a unique perspective on design, inspiring her to create interiors that flow cohesively— like a well-choreographed performance, where style, technique, and ambiance work in harmony.

When she is not designing, Hannah enjoys spending time with friends and family, long walks with her golden labrador retriever, Milo, barre and yoga classes, spa and beach days, occasional Disney and Universal trips, and exploring new places and restaurants.
